Well....almost...

So - things I accomplished so far this weekend:
1) Copious amounts of laundry
2) Rearranged my bedroom
3) Reclaimed most of the living room (Kevin rescued the kitchen)
4) Played Guitar Hero for the first time in almost a year (Abby and Amy Lou, I totally thought of you guys)
5) Sang Karaoke for the first time in San Francisco
6) Drove around San Francisco AT NIGHT and IN THE RAIN and DID NOT DIE!

Last night was a lot of fun, even though the rain was like a four year old kid kicking the back of your chair over and over and over again. clearmind came over and we drove up to his friend Andy's place in the Richmond district. Parking was found only a few blocks away and I'm proud to say that I still have my mad parallel parking skills. I can park my truck like nobody's business.

Guitar Hero was in full force when we arrive and the boys kicked some mighty fine ass at the songs. I finally got the gumption up to do bass on easy level and did not suffer horribly. This does, however, solidify my belief that if I were to own a playstation, NOTHING WOULD EVER GET DONE.

Karaoke happened over at Encore and it was a blast. There were a lot of people there and I only got to sing once - "All That Jazz" from Chicago (would you expect anything less from me?). I got a lot of compliments from random strangers and makes me yearn for more Karaoke nights. Later, Holland, Margot and I were backup dancers for "These Boots Were Made for Walking." Cat calls abounded. It was sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Overall, I think it was a very good birthday celebration for clearmind, who totally deserved it. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some copious amounts of writing I need to do before I head off to see "Lars and the Real Girl" tonight at 7 (expect review!)
