Yesterday Gov. Arnie gave his State of the State Address.

This is probably one of the best speeches I’ve ever read and it almost makes me want to move back to California to help out.

What Arnold is suggesting is what I’ve been talking about – changing the way our government works so that it fits the needs of today and solves the problems that we’re facing now. Our government is a living government, it’s one that we should be able to change as we grow and evolve. Nothing is set in stone that we cannot change. I hope that the fine people of California back him on this and come together to make the changes that that state SEVERELY needs to make.

So for all out there who were all for moving to Canada after the elections, instead, why don’t you move to California where they’re trying to make things just a little bit better? If California can change the way they have their local governments set up, perhaps that will be enough to get other states thinking the same thing. In time, that might affect how the national government is run as well.

Sure, his speech may be all talk, and yes, I may not trust him all that much because he’s a republican, but really – the ideas presented in this speech are EXACTLY what California, what the nation, needs. I just hope that people work together on this.

Arnold is trying to fix the problems of Gray Davis. . .my sister lives in Pleasantville (its a burb north of frisco, i believe) and between her and her hubbie the stories of fiscal mismanagement were absurd. And Arnold is advocating smarter spending, smaller government, and more self determination. If only he were a natural born US Citizen or else we could've had the "Presidentator" or something :-p

So for all out there who were all for moving to Canada after the elections, instead, why don’t you move to California where they’re trying to make things just a little bit better?

Well, they've been saying for a long time that the DNC is bi-coastal, so why not make it a reality, ha ha. That way when California does fall in the ocean we'll have all the rats in one hole. HA HA HA, I keed I keed.
wow...i really do want to move back there.
*tears*
now, if only we can get the other states to take such political risks, our country might not be doomed after all
