Making love to you was never second best

You know, this could be an insult if you think about it.

Anyways - it's a lazy Saturday over here. Because Molly goes crazy every night at about 3am, I've been sleeping with my door shut. Not something I'm generally happy about. Especially when the cats demand to be fed. Sleeping in? What's that? First, Molly will meow at my door. I'll hear faint little scufflings because she's a tiny thing and doesn't have a lot of force. So - Molly will go fetch Sasha. Sasha has a much louder meow and also a hell of a lot more bulk. Sasha will then KNOCK ON MY DOOR. I'm not kidding. He will sit there and KNOCK ON MY FUCKING DOOR until I'm awake.

So I woke up, fed the felines, then took a shower. Now I'm still in my towel, my hair is almost dry and I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do today. Steph's party is at 7pm, but also Mall Rats is showing at midnight and Brian and Kelly showed some interesting in going to that. So I should call them up.

It's been 2 years since moving to Minneapolis. Two whole years. In that time, I've had 3 jobs, 2 residences, 3 flings, seen about a half dozen shows, and made a ton of new friends. So there's that.

However, I'm still not where I want to be with my life, and I think it's time to keep moving on. Which is hard to do. The idea of moving from Minneapolis is a hell of a lot easier in the winter than it is in the spring. But every time I read through the packet from New College or CCA, I realize how much I REALLY want to go back to school. I want to do SOMETHING with my life. I want my writing to change the world. *I* want to change the world. And I'm not ready to do that now. My writing isn't ready yet. So I'll keep moving forward until it is.
heh...I slept in till about noon, but I don't have the cats to feed. :P

Have fun tonight! (you're probably already having fun, but I was in the library till about 40 minutes ago)
