General Silliness

Yay for lunch at Bennihana's!

Yay for Timmy and Vera's and drag queens!

Yay for friends crashing on my futon and keeping me company!

Yay for sandwiches at Expresso 22!

Yay for trivia games and buffalo wings!

Yay for scary movies, even if I have seen it five times!

And yay for friends in the Twin Cities!

Okay, I know I haven't posted in like, forever. I can say that not much has happened, but what I'm really saying is that I'm really lazy and don't feel like typing it all out. So I guess prepare yourself for a long entry that you may or may not skip over. It's all up to you afterall, I just type away because I can! GO TEAM ME!

Anyhoot, lesse, what HAS happened this week? On Tuesday, MA crashed on my futon to escape the deadly centapedes that have invaded her apt. I really can't blame her. Those things are HELLA freaky. We found a baby one crawling on my floor, and I realized that the huge ass monster bug I had Ted kill for me back in August was a grown up version. Thank GOD I've only seen two.

On Weds I went and saw Matrix: Revolutions. Yeah...um...that movie deserves another viewing before I make a full comment. I will say this, though (even though Adam TOTALLY disagrees with me): The Wachowski brothers tried to rip off Return of The King in an attempt to steal Peter Jackson's thunder. I'll explain more when I see the movie again.

On Thursday I went and took the Minnesota written Drivers lisense test. I got at 32 out of 36, meaning I passed. In four weeks I will get my new MN lisense in the mail. Pray that it'll be a good picture. After the test, I scurried off to Caraboo Coffee and kidnapped Timmy and Kelly and went to Lunch at Bennihana. I don't think I've ever felt that full before. Dear god, I felt like I was gonna explode. And DAMN was it good!!! I needed a couple of hours to digest, then I picked up Timmy and we went to Vera's, ran into Tony, the most adorable drag queen ever, and next Weds we're gonna go see him compete at the Gay 90's. He's such a sweetie.

On a complete side note: Mandy Moore is BUTCHERING Adelaide's Lament right now on Bravo. Damn pop singers thinking they can sing Broadway showtunes.

ANYHOOT, MA crashed at my place again on thursday night, and I stared to read A Game of Thrones. Yeah, that book KICKS ASS like none other. It's what Wheel Of Time SHOULD have been. I can't wait to read more!!!!

So today, poor little sick MA slept in on my futon as I slept in as well. When we finally emerged from my apt at around 3, we headed over to expresso 22 for one of their TO DIE FOR sandwiches. If you live in the cities, go there and have one. They are AMAZING. It's almost a crime against nature to have a sandwich THAT good. Afterwards, I scurried home, was invited to buffalo wings, went off, played wonderful games of trivia, we came back and watched The Ring, which still spooks the living daylights out of me, and is why I'm still awake writing this long and rather boring entry.

If you've read this far, I congratulate you.

Anyhoot, as you can tell, not much has been going on in my life.
