Tired tonight - came home and made the mistake of laying down, which resulted in a two hour nap. Still am tired. Would have continued to sleep but I kind of needed food. My brain? Not fully operational at this moment.

1) So I left my charger in Milwaukee this weekend and Carolyn said she'd send it to me. Of course, I didn't ask WHEN and I have no patience. My phone finally kicked it last night so I went to the tmobil store after work to see if they had a charger. WELL, they don't make my phone any more and now all chargers are USB ports. They could order me one, but it would take a week. Odds are, no where in the city had one. BUT - I was elligable for their rebate plan if I got a new phone. SO I got a razer or whatever, and I'll get $50 when I mail it in. w00t! But what was waiting for me when I got home? My charger. Am I brilliant? No - I could have gone home first and none of this would have ever happened. But I have a new phone now, and it's really quite pretty.

2) BIRTHDAY IN A WEEK - WHO WANTS TO GO BOWLING OR SOMETHING ON SUNDAY THE 8TH? LET ME KNOW

3) Weigh in today! It was a little more disappointing than before - only 2.5 lbs this week. I attribute it to the fact my uterine lining is sloughing off in accordance to the lunar cycle. DAMN YOU WATER RETENTION!

But anyways - this brings me to a total of.......

19 lbs!!!!!

So what weighs 19lbs?
This...um...interesting old west bronze sculpture

A comatose feline!

This unlucky turkey who didn't run fast enough!

AND THIS HUUUUUUUUUUGE CARP!

4) *MY* livejournal entries have paragraphs, complete sentences and, for the most part, somewhat decent grammar and mediocre spelling. I think other english majors should learn from this. There is no excuse for crappy typing unless you are in a permanent state of drunk. But hey - that's just me. I could probably proof read every entry and re-edit them before I post, but I at least run it through a spell checker every now and then, and at least I use punctuation and capital letters. If we want to be perceived as writers, we should at least make the effort to seem somewhat interested in our craft.
