  • Had my last day at work. Made my manager cry (good tears!). Hard to say goodbye to everybody, not hard to say goodbye to some of the customers.
  • One of those customers? An insane lady who measured our dumpster and then was all pissed because the measurements weren't exact. Fully admits that the website does say "about" in front of each and every measurement we give. Crazy, crazy lady.
  • Drove to Greebs - talked to Abby, Ben, my parents, Kermit, and Keifer along the way.
  • Made it to the Lit Awards and saw Keifer get his first place in poetry - AWESOME! Slightly jilted by the fact they actually get mad money now but still very happy.
  • Reminisced with Kermit about the TownHouse year. Man, those were the days.

  • Drove VVer to school and surprised Herr Humphrey. Had a wonderful talk with him.
  • Talked with Laurie about everything, more wonderful times were had.
  • Had lunch with Sam - yes, more wonderfulness.
  • Drove to Rhinelander, did NOT get lost!
  • Was introduced to the biglets. They are so cuddly
  • Was attacked by lamprey eels

  • Woke up and practiced my tai chi on the tennis courts - weather was amazing and it was a fabulous way to start the day.
  • Played the paper game for the first time - Tracy did very well with the sentences I gave her
  • Went swimming for the first time in MONTHS
  • Chatted it up with the kids who were doing power hour. Learned that I, too, can hula the hoop.
  • Tracy drew an AWEOME frog on my shoulder.
  • Sang showtunes with Boheme and others.
  • Watched Ghost and Will talk politics (you don't really listen so much as watch these two - it's like performance art)
  • Went to dance, had food, danced danced danced, swam, danced, had one shot of jager, danced.
  • Went to campfire and sang a whoooooooooooooooooooooooooole lot of laudies. Dear god in heaven.
  • Played the magic bible game, asked three different questions and turned to same same passage all three times. Answer to all questions? "When you finish reading this book, tie it to a stone and throw it into the Euphrates."

  • Woke up stiff and sore. Made my god like coffee. Packed things up.
  • Said my goodbyes.
  • lots of hugs
  • Drove home, missing my exit onto 29 because I am brilliant like that - turned around and headed home. Again.

All in all - the best BIG weekend I've ever had. Abby - mad props to you.

Things I learned:
1. In America - first you get the hip bones, then you get the power, then you get the freshmen.
2. My celery brings all the vegetarians to the yard. Damn right it's better than yours.
3. 1 shot of Jager will make me somewhat tipsy now.
4. When I set my mind to it, I can avoid drama like nobody's business.
You had coffee? And it was god-like? DAMMIT! I didn't realize there were coffee makers in the cabins until after I got there and I was ground-less. I would've enjoyed even just a sip.

I followed your pointing finger to the celery but never did find it. Just hamburger buns, condiments, and piles of meat. *shrug* Next time I'll bring my own crunchy snacks.
Oh man - it was on the table in a pastic container! You should have come back to me, I had even more back in the cabin!

Yes - coffee is essential to my wellbeing. I make my coffee stronger than God. It's so dark it's like a blackhole. All light and matter is drawn to it.
I had a lovely time dancing with you at dinner from across the table! Oh thx for taking Ashtray & I to
Wal-Mart on Friday. Ashtray was a lil too drunk to drive! =]
