This poll is prompted by my friend Ben, who is the only person I know who doesn't like the smell of rain. Of course, I haven't asked a lot of people and it doesn't always come up into conversation, so I figured - what better way to find out than a poll? I like polls.

Poll #1073252 The smell of rain

Do you enjoy the smell of rain?

Yes! I open every window in my house, water damage be damned!
No! It smells like dirt and mold. I'd rather inhale musty socks.
Eh, it's alright. Nothing I'd dab behind my ears or anything.
I have no sense of smell.
Clearly you have touched upon the flaw of most internet polls. You dealt in extremes. Only a Sith deals in extremes.

Seriously though. It bugs me when there are polls where your options are like "Do you like burritos?" Choice a: I LOVE BURRITOS! I EAT THEM IN MILK WITH A SPOON FOR BREAKFAST! Choice b: I hate burritos. I wish the flour tortilla had never been invented and people has long ago relegated the Bean to the spectrum of dandelions on the "You could eat it but why would you?" chart.

I need like a "I love to play in the rain" or "I love the fresh smell of rain" option that doesn't leave me feeling irresponsibly forceful or not forceful enough.
I find it interesting that you have chosen to project a serious issue onto a poll that really is not serious in nature. But to each their own.

Regardless of how it makes you feel, you still answered the question though. It shows that you CAN make a commitment to an "extreme" answer to a question (dude, I'm asking about rain, not if I should kill a puppy). How you feel about it is not my problem but yours.
Oh, sorry hon, it's hard to project emotion over the internet. That was just one of my "Didja ever notice?" rants. It was early and I didn't wanna study.
Ah the joys of the emotionless internet. :)
